How much does it cost to run a website?

A website makes you money and cost you very little to run.
Depending on how big your website is, how complex and how often you want it updated determines how much it cost to run.

Every website needs a domain name (i.e. www.example.co.uk) this is between £7 and £20 a year for a domain name.
Every site needs a hosting service to host their website online, this ranges between £60 a year to £150 a year depending on the website.
And then the updates, this depends on the business and you, some businesses update their website text and pictures every 6 months to a year others update every week.
Updates are paid for by the hour and maintenance contracts are usually available for sites needing regular updates.
